A Traditional Sussex Celebration – SEASONS OF THE YEAR
Sussex Harmony will be presenting Smocks, Frocks and Shepherd’s Pie – a traditional Sussex
Celebration of the ‘Seasons of the Year’ – which includes a meal on Saturday 28th September 2019 in THE SPACE at All Saints’ Church, Old Heathfield at 6.45 for 7.00 pm.
Tickets which include a 2 course Harvest Supper with coffee are priced at £10.00 with under
16’s £6.00, available from Gemini Cards in Heathfield High Street or by ringing Jean Barnes on

Sussex Harmony was founded in 1992 to research, reconstruct and perform the little known music
of the English Church and Independent Chapels from 1700 to 1850, and its derivatives from New
England and the Southern States - a tradition that continues with new music to the present day.
Sussex Harmony has brought their vibrant music to other choirs in Sussex by arranging workshops
and have longstanding friendships with choirs in Bexhill and Catsfield.
Membership is drawn from people of all ages with a variety of interests and consists of an
enthusiastic band of amateur singers and instrumentalists consisting of bassoon, oboe, clarinet and recorder with occasional flute and violin. They are based in Lewes where they practice.
