Hiring the Hall

St Richard's Hall is adjacent to the church on Park Road and is available for hire throughout the year at very competitive rates.
The hall is well equipped and maintained to a high standard and available for bookings from private individuals and local organisations on either a one-off or a regular basis.
The hall has its own car parking area and the adjacent church car park is also available to hall users. An entrance with a ramp gives easy wheelchair access.
There is a secure garden area, available for children's activities.
There is a large hall (10m x 8m) and stage (5m x 4m) and a well equipped kitchen. The central heating can be adjusted to give appropriate heating at all times of the year.
Facilities include:
- Seating for about 70 people
- Folding tables (11 large and 4 small)
- Wi-fi available
- Crockery, glassware and cutlery
- Microwave oven
- Dishwasher
- Toilets (including easy access and baby changing facilities)
Hire Rates:
- From 1st January 2023 the minimum hire charge for the hall will be £33.00 for up to two hours and £16.50 per hour thereafter.
Health and Safety:
Users are asked to comply with the PCC's Health and Safety regulations and to demonstrate that they hold appropriate and adequate insurance, indemnifying them against third party claims. St Richard's Church PCC cannot accept responsibility for any risks resulting from actions or negligence or users of the hall, its ground or car park.
Our regular users include Heathfield Cake and Wine Choir and Heathfield Folk Dance Group, Rainbows and Brownie Groups, Trefoil Guild and Know Dementia Memory Moments Café as well some of our other Heathfield Benefice activity groups like Baby and Toddlers and Art and Craft which are open to anyone in the local community to attend. A great venue for children's parties other family functions, workshops and meetings.
