Everyone welcome! The Warm Welcome Space initiative is the community response to the cost of living and energy crisis.
Heathfield Benefice together with others across the UK are determined to equip and support our communities with free, warm, and welcoming spaces in communities across the UK. Working with churches and other faith groups, civil society organisations, businesses and Local Authorities, we want to make sure that nobody is left to suffer on their own this winter.
Our WARM WELCOME space is:
- FREE with no hidden costs.
- Our Warm Welcome space will be WARM and able to provide basic refreshments such as tea/coffee & soup.
- Our Warm Welcome space will be SAFE, abiding by our usual safeguarding policies and hygiene rules. We also provide basic signposting information available to people who need further support and help.
- WELCOMING – our Warm Welcome space is inclusive and non-judgmental where everyone can expect a warm welcome from helpers.
Our WARM WELCOME Space will be:
Every Friday 10.30 am - 2.30 pm, starting again from 6th January.
